Dr. Tallerico was born and raised in rural western Pennsylvania where he began his love affair with the outdoors at an early age. He would devour any magazines and books about hunting big game and after taking his first buck at age 13 he was hopelessly addicted.

After graduating from college in 1993, he was commissioned as a Medical Corps officer in the US Navy and attended medical school on their four year Health Professions Scholarship. Then, after a five-year residency in Orthopedic Surgery, he became an active duty Navy surgeon based in Bremerton, Washington where he took care of service members and their families, including veterans of wars past and present, from 2002-2006. Brian was honorably discharged as Lieutenant Commander and still reflects on his time in the Navy as the very best of his medical career.

Over the last 15 years Brian has been able to balance a family, a busy practice, and a passion for hunting big game all over the world. He has been blessed to experience some amazing adventures around the globe but cherishes the time spent outdoors with his three children the most.

Dr. Tallerico is honored and humbled to be part of the Kryptek ProStaff as Team Physician. Once again he is able to “serve those who served” while providing insight and experience regarding the Kryptek product line. He believes in the mission of Kryptek, their dedication to the US Military and law enforcement, and most of all the people that made the company what it is today.
